Deacon Ministry

The purpose of the Deacon Ministry is to assist the Pastor in the interest of the church body. In the absence of the Pastor, it becomes the duty of the deacons to provide spiritual leadership and supply the pulpit and administer the affairs of the church body.

The objectives of the Deacon Ministry are to:

visit the sick and shut-in as well as pray for and with them
serve Communion to the sick and shut-in and the entire church body with the Pastor
assist with baptism
oversee Prayer Meeting
assist the Pastor in all church matters
