“Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” - Deuteronomy 31:12
“…the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, no given to much wine teachers of good things—that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love t heir children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the work do God may not be blasphemed.” - Titus 2:3-5
“…till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;…” - Ephesians 4:13

The Women’s Ministry has been an entity of Antioch Baptist Church since 1924. It is an instrument that focuses on women’s issues and to edify the Word of God.
The purpose of this Ministry is to empower the women of the church to grow into spiritual maturity, to unite in fellowship, and to assist in the work of the church.
The goals of the Women’s Ministry are:
- to glorify God in praise and worship;
- to teach and train the younger women;
- to encourage women to become involved in caring and serving to strengthen their personal and spiritual lives;
- to motivate and encourage women to establish a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;
- to provide education, training, and other activities that are relevant to women’s issues, that is, physical, social, emotional, spiritual; and
- to motivate women to become active in Bible study, church school, and other church activities to build up their spiritual and personal life.
The following are elected offices in the Women Ministry:
President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Assistant Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Correspondence/Financial Secretary, Chaplain, and Assistant Chaplain.
The Women Ministry meets monthly.
